The electronic way to the maintain security of an entrance door. Audio systems allow the householder to “talk” to someone outside without opening the door or possibly without even leaving their chair. Video systems allow the householder to “talk to & see” someone outside without opening the door. Either type of system can be made to electronically release the door’s lock once the visitor has been cleared for access. Video systems are now available in both black & white and in colour.
